A program a SAXON Sz\u00e1sz J\u00e1nos \u00e1ltal feltal\u00e1lt Poliuniverzum geometriai j\u00e1t\u00e9kon alapszik. Az eszk\u00f6z \u00fajdons\u00e1g\u00e9rt\u00e9ke az alapform\u00e1kban rejl\u0151 \u201dl\u00e9pt\u00e9kv\u00e1lt\u00e1sos szimmetri\u00e1ban\u201d \u00e9s az ehhez rendelt sz\u00ednkombin\u00e1ci\u00f3s rendszerben van. A Poliuniverzum v\u00e1ltozatos ter\u00fcleteken alkalmazhat\u00f3 az oktat\u00e1sban, szerepe lehet p\u00e9ld\u00e1ul a geometriai \u00e9s logikai k\u00e9szs\u00e9gek fejleszt\u00e9s\u00e9ben, vagy a kombinatorikai probl\u00e9m\u00e1k vizu\u00e1lis megjelen\u00edt\u00e9sben.
